What’s New in GENESYS 2021

Presenter: David Long

GENESYS 2021 brings new analytical power to model-based systems engineering (MBSE). This release brings a range of added features that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility—all in the service of greater analytical power for the engineer. These new capabilities, combined with the unmatched power of the GENESYS model-based systems engineering platform, deliver the architectural range to manage the most complex systems with the engineering depth enabled by analytical tools.

In this webinar, you’ll learn how GENESYS 2021 delivers a variety of capabilities and other refinements to enhance engineering design and analysis as well as user experience. Key enhancements include:

  • New modeling power and flexibility through entity-level inheritance, enabling users to model objects once – with specific attributes, parameters, and properties – then inherit, specialize, and extend the entities as needed.
  • Greater richness in parameter specification, including minimum and maximum values, objectives, and precision, to better reflect these critical values across the engineering lifecycle spanning requirements, architecture, and test.
  • Binding of parameters to clearly reflect dependencies and avoid manual translation errors, permitting the team to understand current status and the effect of design changes.
  • Refreshed user interface in a Microsoft Office 2016/2019 motif providing a modern, familiar experience.
